Calling new grads: APX year 2

In our first jobs after college — working in Google’s APM Program — Bret and I were given what might be considered an irresponsible amount of responsibility: the freedom to build and launch products. It was a steep learning curve and stressful, but so motivating. (The products turned out okay, too). And it’s the same experience we want for new graduates joining Sierra. So if you’re…

  • Excited about applied AI
  • Interested in where agent hype meets reality
  • Looking for a broad range of experiences early in your career
  • Want to make an impact
  • Just graduated or graduating next year in computer science or a related field…

…we're now accepting applications for year two of our APX Program, which offers hands-on experience in both agent engineering and product management. For those interested in pure engineering, we’re also accepting new graduate (or about to graduate) applications for agent engineers. In both roles, you’ll build and ship agents for companies operating in a wide variety of industries — from retail, healthcare, and financial services, to telecoms, travel, and more.

It’s less than two years since Sierra launched our first agents, and we can both safely say building agents is the single best way to get broad-based product experience today. Within your first year, you’ll have a half dozen or more launches under your belt, and have worked with companies large and small, across multiple industries. It won’t always be easy — working at the edge of what’s barely possible never is. But you will learn so much about AI, how to build and launch products, and what it means to partner with some of the world’s most successful businesses. Most important of all, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact — improving the consumer experience for millions of people globally.
